Ripper Runner is a small project dedicated for the One Script Game Jam, That means every object in this game runs off a single .cs script. (for the lols).

The game which is based off the infamous serial killer Jack The Ripper, we have decided this would be a cool way to show of the Leave Something Behind theme of the jam as Jack The Ripper is known for leaving calliing cards on his victims. This is how we chose to implement the theme.

This game is a work of fiction and contains historical characters but does not wish to achive an accurate representation of them.

Thank You

Great game! The fact that you guys pulled off a 3d game under the restrictions of the jam is pretty impressive. I also like how many people there are just scurrying about :)

Something that seemed to have been added, but was broken when I played it (both web and win versions) was the ability to change camera angles. I saw that LCtrl was meant to change them, but it didn't for me.. While I get how unpractical it would have been, it would've been fun to play from the perspective shown in the .gif :)

One thing I didn't quite like was that I found the game to be pretty easy; The enemies don't deal too much damage and running straight at them while pressing LMB pretty much guarantees an easy kill. Maybe having the protagonist more of a 'glass cannon', where you could die in 2-3 hits and the enemies would have longer, more telegraphed attacks would help alleviate this problem, but I don't know if that would've been feasible in the given time...

Anyhow, the game turned out pretty great, so congrats to everyone involved! :D

Thank you for the feedback. i am quite happy with how things kind of turned out, i had some issues with exporting the project near the end (something wrong with the game's icon?).

The Left control was meant to shift to an alternate viewing style if the player perfers to have the more rounded 3d look but for the style of this game we thought the other mode would be better as a default as it ads some flatness that's not obsurd to the game which made it look better in some aspects.

And lastsly the attacks aren't telegraphed, you simply loose HP when you are inside a guards field of view while you aren't protecting yourself with a sprint/protect.

None the less thanks for the feedback and i hope you enjoyed.
